The most important changes in the law in the last 30 years?

This is a very thorny issue and there are a variety of very credible suggestions.

Would it be the Human Rights Act 1998 embedding the European Convention fully into UK law and being enforceable in the law?

Could it be the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 which enforced the separation of powers and moved the Law Lords over into their new, separate Supreme Court?

We wouldn't presume to know the right answer but if you listen to the anniversary edition of Law in Action at 30 to come to your own decision. Very interesting, informative stuff and well worth a listen.
